So there was several Greek gods called the Erotes. They were the Greek Gods of love, passions, and desire. The following gods are Hedylogos, Hermaphroditos, Himeros, Hymenaios and Pothos.
There was the God HEDYLOGOS. He was the God of sweet-talk and flattery. His parents aren’t stated anywhere but his mother was most likely Aphrodite. Hedylogos is not in any literature but he appeared in an ancient vase painting, where he and Pothos are on the chariot of the goddess Aphrodite.
Another Erotes is HERMAPHRODITOS. The god of hermaphrodites and of effeminates, basically god of intersex. His parents were Hermes and Aphrodite. He was once a handsome man, but Salmakis, the Naiad nymph of a well in which he was bathing in, fell in love with him. She prayed to the Gods to never part with him and while he was bathing she crawled onto him and the Gods merged them into one per her request. In some versions of the tale, the well will turns anyone who bathes in it intersex or will give them both genitalia of Male or female. He is depicted with wings and both male and female features, usually female thighs, breasts, and male genitalia.
HIMEROS was the god of sexual desire. His mother was Aphrodite. He had a twin, Eros, the mischievous, young version. Some classical writers say the twins were born immediately after Aphrodite was born. The pair remained her constant companions, almost always at her side.
The next God is HYMENAIOS, the god of the wedding ceremony and the hymn sung by the bride’s train. He is also referred to as another name, Hymen. He is described as a son of Apollo and one of the Muses. Hymenaios is shown to be a winged child carrying a bridal torch in his hand. Hymenaeus followed his love to Athens, after she rejected him, disguised as a woman only for him and a bunch of other women to be kidnapped. Once the kidnappers were asleep, he killed them and told the city he would return the women only of in return he gets to marry his beloved. So once they women were safely returned, he was granted permission to marry his love.
POTHOS was the god of passionate longing, yearning and desire. Sometimes described as the son of Zephyros (the west wind) and Iris (the rainbow). Others describe him as the son of Aphrodite. Often depicted alongside his brothers, Himeros and Eros. Origin is not really specified.
